Background
Over the last 100 years the church scene in Wales has changed enormously. Following the last revival in1904, about 86 percent of the population attended church regularly. Now only seven percent attend church regularly, and only two percent of Wales’ population would claim to be evangelical Christians. Consequently, the average size of a church congregation in Wales is 19 people, with many churches struggling to engage in evangelism because of the lack of manpower, resources, and inspiration.

On a single day eight men were baptized from an unreached people group in the greater Middle East. Together, they had decided they wanted to follow Jesus. When asked why they had made their decision they reported, "One thing we all noticed was that every person we met who followed Jesus seemed to speak well of each other.
